Privacy Policy

Effective 17-Jul-2026  ·   Version 1.0

This policy explains what we do with your information when you use twindelite.com. It applies to both Sellers in Schedule 1 – Terms of Service — but which privacy law protects you depends on where you are, and we have flagged that where it matters.

What we collect

You give us: your name, email, phone, delivery and billing address, what you ordered, anything you write to us, and any reviews or feedback you send. If you make a business or ship-chandler enquiry, whatever you put in it.

We collect automatically: your IP address, browser, device, which pages you looked at, and when. Cookies do most of this — see below.

We never see your card or UPI details. Those go straight to our payment provider, which is PCI-DSS certified. We get back a transaction reference and the last four digits. Nothing else.

What we use it for

To take your order, pack it, ship it, invoice it, and tell you where it is. To answer you when you write to us. To sort out replacements and refunds. To keep our tax and food-safety records straight. To spot fraud. To make the site and the products better. And — only if you have said yes — to send you offers.

We do not sell your data.

Who else sees it

Our couriers (your name, address, phone — they cannot deliver otherwise). Our payment provider. The companies that host the site, send our emails, and run our analytics. Our accountants and auditors. Government or regulators, if the law requires it. And the other Seller in Schedule 1 – Terms of Service, where an order or a customer query crosses between India and Singapore — the two companies share information under a written agreement that requires each to protect it to the same standard.

Data moves between India and Singapore. For Indian customers, that transfer is made under Section 16 of the DPDP Act. For Singapore customers, under the Transfer Limitation Obligation in Section 26 of the PDPA. Both are covered by the same written agreement.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it. Order and tax records stay for at least 8 years in India and 5 years in Singapore, because tax law says so. Marketing data goes when you withdraw consent. Account data goes a reasonable time after you close your account.

Your rights

If you are in India — the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 gives you the right to ask what we hold, to correct it, to have it erased, to withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, and to nominate someone to act for you. If we do not sort out your complaint, you can go to the Data Protection Board of India.

If you are in Singapore — the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 gives you the right to ask what we hold and how we have used it, to correct it, and to withdraw consent. If we do not sort out your complaint, you can go to the Personal Data Protection Commission.

Either way: email the contact for your country in Schedule 1 – Terms of Service from your registered address. We will reply within 30 days.

To stop marketing: click unsubscribe in any marketing email, reply STOP to a marketing message, or just email us. We will still send you messages about an order you have actually placed.

Singapore numbers: before we call, text or WhatsApp you about anything promotional, we check the Do Not Call Registry unless you have given us clear consent. That is the law there and we follow it.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, see how the site performs, and — with your consent — show you relevant ads. You can refuse the optional ones on our banner or in your browser. The essential ones cannot be turned off without breaking the site.

Security

We use HTTPS, restrict who inside the company can see what, and store passwords hashed. No website is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If there is a breach, we will tell you and the regulator — the Data Protection Board of India or the PDPC, as applicable.

Other sites

We link to other sites sometimes. Their privacy practices are theirs, not ours.

Complaints

Contact for your country is in Schedule 1 – Terms of Service. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within one month.

Changes

We will post any update here with a new date, and tell you if it is significant.
